Extremely well put BB. Your read of the conditions is on the money.

Wishing I could disagree with you commentary,

Bob

Big Buck, I love our thorough discussions on this site. I agree that we are in uncharted waters at this time. That is the reason I was surprised that the Semi Sector jumped this past week. That is why I like the DW process--it is based purely on supply and demand and appears to show trends. Naturally, things could turn south but when I look at the DW American Century-20th Century Ultra Investment Fund I see the same upward trend in the fund. The fund appears to be very heavy in technology stocks: computer (Dell), software (Microsoft and Sun Microsystem) and , semi's (txn, amat, intc, mot, lucent) and network (csco). It has run up from $25.40 in Oct. '97 to $27.40 in Jan. '98. It is showing an upward and steady trend line.

Thanks for your feedback.

Paul V.
