I would not jump to the conclusion that the SEC investigation is over. There is still no 10-K.

The SEC will never tell you how an investigation got started. They won't even tell you there is one, until there is a formal announcement, such as a trading halt.

I think it may be a combination of factors here. Riley has also created some additional visibility which may have backfired IMHO.

How many people do you think have read this thread starting in August? For every poster, there are probably 10 lurkers. And there are probably hundreds who simply passed through.

There are legal professionals that lurk on these threads, and follow more closely than you might think.

Are there other companies with similar problems? My guess is there are quite a few. But my name rarely gets attached to them without my knowledge. There are many on SI who have been severely burned in the pennies. They know how to contact the SEC, just like you do. It is a growing army, perusing the SI threads and making great efforts to alert authorities. No one has the time to look at them all.
