There is plenty room for improvement in Asia. That is the most important thing in the short term. We may not see the long term effect in our life time. I do not see Taiwan yield easily to China without a good fight or China have to change to an acceptable nation. I believe
China and Taiwan will merge eventually. The New China will prosper if the merge can be achieved peacefully. However, there are many foreign forces do not wish to see this to happen. This has been clearly demonstred in the China history in the last ~100 years. We will see the replay again. It will be the most stuipid thing for China to use force to take over Taiwan. Taiwan is the only hope for China to become a democratic nation. It is the high degree of education and freedom in Taiwan made the difference. Taiwan is the hope for Chinese and an important factor for world peace for the next century.

Sincerely,
Wade
