I remember noticing (and posting on SI about it) back in 2014 how Fox News gave Obama the highest approval rating among recent polls at that time, and Rasmussen was 2nd (6 percentage points higher than Washington Post-ABC News and 8 percentage points higher than Gallup).

Sure that's just a snapshot, an anecdote, and there are others that could be found showing Rasmussen finding lower approval rates for Democrats or higher for Republicans, but its certainly not consistently biased to the Republicans side, whether or not it has a slight overall bias that way.
