I'm short the s&p at 971.40. Asia and europe look weak. Sold 1/4 QCOM for a 4 pt loss (ouch). Rumors started that they may not meet their earnings.

Lizzard, I will put my money where my mouth is today on ITEQ, if it hits my trigger point at 9.56.....It is in a 1,2,3,4 position, and continues to lose relative strength....Everyone is entitled to their opinion...The reason I am not short up to this point is I am a pattern player...The neckline sits at 10.00...I wait for confirmation of break-through to downside before I risk capitol.....Mark P.S. If you are right, I will graciously say uncle, and send you a check for 10.00 to restaurant of your choice....But remember, your half of the bargain if you lose...Remember I have until March 1, 1998 on this deal....

Can someone post a log of larger trades on SIGA? Its up 9% on 2x volume so far. See anything strange or meaningful here? Buying lotsa MAVK yesterday and early today.. most at 19.25. A good day or 2 in the market and I see this back to $24. (just read the Shark board on AOL and glad to see MAVK is now mentioned there too-- this is a great fundamental story IMHO p.s. LRiley called in and they are "very comfortable" with estimates for the Q to be reported in 1.5 weeks) FIBR is on fire... one of only 2 very long term positions for me, up about 50% the past 2 days. Too bad I bot around 3.75 a few months ago. ECGOF looks steady if not spectacular. FAMH is only other long position. Hoping for a decent bounce in next few days on the market as a whole. Isnt there supposed to be a darn Jan effect grin?? Good luck, Mark
