The stock did run up after Jest news so seemed that was what drove it to 45

I believe strong hands have been the buyers and they bought not just because of Jest, but they know there is 3 chances, Jest, Colombia and NFLD..

So a miss at Jest does not mean game over.

The other factor at 42M shares at 30 cents is still just a $12 million market cap, so not that expensive, most of the NFLD plays are valued higher on just their NFLD early exploration ground.

I think if results can match or be similar to what Victoria Gold had in some of their drilling, this will really fly.

Yukon is one of the more favoured areas these day as well, with all the majors moving up there in the past year.

Can we miss sure but these 2 targets have some nice high grade stuff that most likely connects under ground

Potentially Significant Advantages
McConnells Jest

Intact Carapace

This exposure indicates the mineralized
brittle carapace of the intrusion is mostly
intact and has not been eroded.

Individual assays up to 31.3 grams per tonne gold;

  • An approximate target size of 400 by 400 metres;
  • The Hill zone is located just 150 metres from the Two-Four zone;
  • A drill-ready target for 2017.

  • The Hill zone was identified from bedrock vein sampling within a 60-metre-high hill that measures approximately 400 metres by 400 metres. Rock sampling was aided by intermittent cliff exposures about halfway up the hill side. A total of 12 quartz-arsenopyrite-scorodite veins were sampled and returned assays up to 31.3 grams per tonne Au, and included five samples between two and 10 grams per tonne, and seven samples between 10 and 31.3 grams per tonne Au. Mineralization was also observed in quartz veins, quartz microveins and altered fracture zones within the granodiorite. Many of the quartz and microquartz vein samples collected displayed heavy oxidation, and, in several samples, partially oxidized sulphides were identified. Note that not all the veins observed were sampled during the 2017 program and that the rock samples are grab samples, which are not necessarily representative of mineralization hosted on the property.

    The Two-Four zone was initially discovered in 2016 in a 10-metre exposed cliff face where quartz-arsenopyrite-scorodite veins were concentrated at frequencies of up to one vein per metre, which is considered high for intrusion-related gold systems (IRGSs). Initial gold assay values from the discovery zone were up to 41.9 grams per tonne gold and included 41.9 grams per tonne gold, 33.0 grams per tonne gold, 9.8 grams per tonne gold, 8.0 grams per tonne gold, 4.2 grams per tonne gold, 0.34 gram per tonne gold, 5.7 grams per tonne gold and 0.25 gram per tonne gold. The presence of gold in the Two-Four zone was not limited to quartz-scorodite veins as gold was also hosted by quartz veins and altered granodiorite zones returning 33.0 grams per tonne from the altered zone sampled

    The 2017 program at the Two-Four target focused on sampling outward from the 2016 discovery showing. The 2017 sampling program identified a target area of 350 metres by 250 metres, which remains open in two directions. Gold assays returned values up to 20.6 grams per tonne gold and included 17 samples ranging from five grams per tonne to 20.6 grams per tonne, 12 samples ranging from one gram per tonne to five grams per tonne, four samples ranging from 0.25 gram per tonne to one gram per tonne and 15 samples ranging from zero gram per tonne to 0.25 gram per tonne
