Come on Ken. 3 years? Go back to the beginning of the 1900's. Look at the record highs for Seattle.

I am really sick of the absolute garbage that you spew. The fact that you admit that the last 3 years didn't require a/c and then contradicting yourself in the same sentence again strengthens my opinion that you are quite batty.

We very seldom see 90 at our house, and it typically is in the 70s, yet everyone I know has air conditioning. It just makes sense.

The National Weather Service predicts 'widespread record highs' in the region, with highs of 107 degrees in Portland, Oregon, and 104 degrees in Seattle in the next few days.

It would match the highest temperature ever recorded in the city back in 1965 and could mark the first time since 1940 the city has had three straight days of triple-digit-heat.

Prior to the last 3 years, there was no need for air conditioning.

Yet 1/3 of households there have AC?

Why would 1/3of households have something that they don't (didn't) need?
