"Exclusive" is over used for online contracts
and it has been very confusing

--

A small sample from the news recently:

1. Cybermeal exclusive on EXCITE
and exclusive on AOL

biz.yahoo.com

"cybermeals will be the exclusive worldwide provider of aggregated online consumer takeout and delivery meals to the Excite
site audience"

"cybermeals has been named the exclusive online ordering service for
America Online Inc. "

biz.yahoo.com

"AOL.com Makes cybermeals
Exclusive Takeout and Delivery Service Network"

"cybermeals will be the exclusive aggregator of restaurants"

"cybermeals has been exclusively endorsed by the National Association of Pizza Operators and the
Restaurant Delivery Services Association"

2. B&N and AMZN both exclusive on AOL

biz.yahoo.com

" Far-Reaching, Exclusive Agreement Includes Unique
BarnesandNoble.com Links Throughout Service, Enabling AOL Members
to Easily Find Titles Related to Online Content"

"BarnesandNoble.com has been the exclusive bookseller in AOL's Marketplace since March 1997"

"The company also publishes books under its own imprint
for exclusive sale through its retail stores
and nationwide mail order catalogs."

biz.yahoo.com

"Barnes & Noble/America Online commerce agreement has no effect on Amazon.com's existing
position as an exclusive bookseller on America Online. Amazon.com announced a three-year
exclusive bookseller agreement with AOL in July of
this year. Amazon.com is the exclusive bookseller on
AOL.com and AOL's NetFind search engine. In addition,
Amazon.com has multi-year exclusive and premier bookseller relationships with 5 of the top 6"

That's four exclusive's in one paragraph. Is that a first?

I am exclusively exclusive in my sampling.
