Hey Craig,

I think you may be able to short FIBR now. It has screamed up to almost 4 in the last couple of days. Supposedly a big news item is about to be released, although I don't know how anyone would know that. Rumored Lucent buyout.

Craig,

UNPH sells a handful of components to CIEN primarily a modulator. As a component vendor they will be squeezed for profit margin as time goes on unless they can reduce costs. But cost reductions only go so far especially in a high tech area.

Eventually, they need to branch also into new businesses that are more profitable They may be able to do this but I don't see what it is yet.

Do you know what their R&D budget is being spent on?
