Thomas,
Seagate plans to close the Chok Chai HDD plant in Thailand and move most of the asssembly done there to China. I do not believe this has been announced, They will retain some staff and turn part of the facility into a head stack assembly feeder operation to Singapore and China. They are also allowing attrition to trim staff in Penang malaysia. (Slider plant)
Best,
Stitch
