Yes, that would make sense. Except that:

1. you can't short within five days of an offering in which you are going to participate, and

2. it priced a few days ago at 6.50.

But I think exactly the way you do/did, that sellers ain't always net sellers.

After pricing at 6.50, and after such a huge discount for the pronounced dilution, it still cratered. It's like someone who bought in the secondary immediately decided that they'd made a mistake.

Traded way below the underwriter's discounted price today, bent for hell seller at just a very strange time.

I want to point out that I am completely clueless.
