FWIW, Indonesia was down 19% before closing -11%. Rumors about the Ministry of Finance balking on the IMF deal, and the country defalting on its debts, lead to reports of panic food buying. The top general of the military has already warned against any social unrest. The public/investor fear/panic could start to get ugly in Asia. I don't know what it means for the oil sector, but as the PEngr post mentioned, the macro could get ugly hear in the U.S. Scott
