Once a year, they hold a Lindy Hop dance at the casino, which Lindy Bill has attended. People come dressed in the style of the 40s.

Some interesting things about Catalina: it has a casino that's never had gambling in it; it has a bird park with no birds; it has a mausoleum with no body; and a church chime tower that rings out the time on the quarter hour, but no church attached to it.
