News from the Ottawa Citizen-Corel Computer VNC:

"The Java-based NC machines were shipped to the columnists last fall after they dared makers to prove their machines were more than "vaporware" and not at risk of becoming "the unicorns" of the computer world.

Corel Computer, IBM, Sun Microsystems Inc., and Neoware Inc. were the only companies that sent machines to PC Week following the dare.

The reviewers said Corel's was "the newest and roughest" of the four Java NCs and it didn't yet run any form of Java, though Corel assured the magazine editors it would run the new computer programming language soon. "

Myles White, a computer journalist, wrote a very favourable review of Draw 8, Fast Forward section, today's Toronto Star. May have helped give a slight boost today. I think the good news noises will die down soon and with that, the stock price will retreat again.
