Thanks for sharing your results with the thread. I find them very encouraging.

I use the MS Investor Portfolio Manager (free) to log all my transactions and it will print out reports such as transaction logs. It also gives you the ability to keep notes attached to each security and allows you to keep several accounts, and rolls up everything for you. Prior to using the PM app, I kept a log in Excel and found it very tiresome.

I can't believe they give it away, it's the nicest Web app I've ever used from an ease of use, and speed perspective.
