If I recall correctly, Ken Wolff was on the dead cat thread a while back. His analysis proved to be right on the money and the stock played like a classic dead cat, rising after the open then retesting the low to only close higher. Now if it will follow through we will see higher prices in the first 1/2 hour then a tail off and then who knows. I am going to exit within the first 1/2 hour of trading today as I don't have a good read on which way it will continue. Fundamentally, I think the company is sound. However, as we both know, fundamentals sometimes mean shit in the stock market. I think there are some sound reasons for selling right now: 1)MGMT uncertainty, 2)problems in retail and lack of proper marketing, 3)question regarding management's integrity (a couple weeks ago they said they were comfortable with 4th quarter estimates). I don't know if this will go to low 20's right away or down to 16 or 15. Cannot get a read so I will exit and wait and see. Besides, this was a dead cat play for me today. Longer term (6 to 12 months) I would say you would be happy with any entry point below 20. Shorter term, I just don't know. Once I get a better read, I will be purchasing a set of options on them to ride the next wave up. This won't be accomplished until after the split. Splits cause too many weird things to happen to option prices and I don't care to be caught up in that, so I will wait till I know what I am paying for. GO PACK GO! -Scott PS - there is a wild card in this scenario. Apparently RAIN's current President will be on CNBC today at 8:40 am cst. Don't know what affect that will have.
