Bernie Sanders & the BernieCrats: Attacking Liberals that Don’t Pass their “Purity Test”

There is no doubting that Bernie Sanders has created a personal ‘litmus test’ of purity that any liberal candidate must pass and in doing so, he is confirming the same actions of the past, which has been to hand elections over to Republicans.
This type of behavior is not new to Sanders, as he has historically done this even in his own state of Vermont. His support of only a ‘cherry picked’ group of people that pass his personal ‘purity test’ has been one that reflects his own self-centered attitude that he is the only one that can set standards. The sad part about this is he is deliberately trying to divide the Democratic Party, and the Republicans are thrilled. The more adversity that they see, the more that they know their Republican candidates will win.
His followers, the BernieCrats, seem hell-bent on shoving their own agenda down the throats of the Democratic Party. They are attempting to hijack the party and not just move things to the left, but reject any and all members that don’t comply with their particular purity rules.
Let’s get one thing clear: Bernie Sanders is NOT a Democrat. He is an Independent and neither he nor his cult followers belong in the Democratic Party.
“Neo-Liberals, Shills, Oligarch, Establishment”
These are the typical cut-and-paste name-calling that you will hear from the BernieCrats as they not only rant about the horrors of the Democrats that have ‘sold out’, but demand that their agenda be the only agenda. These are not adults that can be invited to the table to brainstorm and talk, they yell, scream and act like spoiled children whose only interest is what they want.
The creation of the Sanders cult following began during the 2016 Presidential election when foreign influences fed misinformation and propaganda to the Sanders supported websites and social media. In another DemocracyGuardian article, one finds that even those in charge of social media for Sanders were shocked at the brainwashing techniques used:

“The stories they posted weren’t the normal complaints he was used to seeing as the Vermont senator and the former secretary of state fought out the Democratic presidential primary. These stories alleged that Clinton had murdered her political opponents and used body doubles”
“But when Mattes <John Mattes, Administrator of Bernie Sanders Facebook page> started tracking down the sites’ domain registrations, the trail led to Macedonia and Albania. In mid-September, he emailed a few of his private investigator friends with a list of the sites. “Very creepy and I do not think Koch brothers,” he wrote.”
“By late October, Mattes said he’d traced 40 percent of the domain registrations for the fake news sites he saw popping up on pro-Sanders pages back to Eastern Europe. Others appeared to be based in Panama and the U.S., or were untraceable. He wondered, “Am I the only person that sees all this crap floating through these Bernie pages?”
And so began the ‘trending name-calling’ that the BernieBots and BernieCrats adopted and anyone that dared to cross the line of purity, inquire as to Sanders dark past history or even support someone that wasn’t on their own ‘special list’, were slammed, ridiculed and received a litany of copy-and-paste accusations. It became quite apparent that this group could not hold a conversation, use critical thinking or even fact check. They were and are, in essence, no different than the extreme right in their ideology and obsessions.
No One Is Safe
Sanders has always been completely and solely for his agenda only, and while he may ‘say’ that he will work with Democrats, his actions speak otherwise. Unless they completely align with his purity standards, he will send his attack team out.
One only has to view his behavior in the post-election condition. It is always a challenge to try to convert the supporters to realign with the winner, but Sanders didn’t really even try. We need only have to look at Hillary Clinton in her loss to Barack Obama. After she lost the candidacy, she immediately went out on the trail, campaigning for Obama. Not so with Sanders. He took time off to write his book and buy his third (?) house, all the while his campaign was sending out emails to his followers to send their $27 donations for the hand-picked candidates that he felt were worthy of his support. When he did return, his support of Clinton was lack luster and smacked of sour grapes. But his BernieBots and Crats had no problem with that, as they seem to be made up of angry people that will rally against anything and anyone that isn’t one hundred percent onboard with their views.
The first real exposure of this attitude came with the attack against Senator Cory Booker for rejecting a ‘line item’ that was added to a bill created by Bernie Sanders for the purpose of U.S. access to cheaper drugs from other countries. Sanders knew that the line item would be rejected as it was completely ‘open’, with disregard to the health requirements of pharmaceuticals and opened the doors to medications from countries that had little or no regard for the same FDA approved controls that exist in the U.S. This was a calculated plan to expose Booker and all of the other Democrats that voted against this version, while conveniently avoiding the fact that they later voted ‘for’ a real bill that had the kind of safety controls needed.
Pro-Sanders writers came out of the woodwork, attacking Booker, who has been viewed as a potential 2020 Presidential candidate. With little or no understanding of the line item or the pharmaceutical industry, writers such as Michael Sainato launched brutal accusations against Booker in articlesthat simply made the BernieCrats drool in delight. It didn’t take long for social media to explode with Sanders supporters screaming and calling Booker names, especially because information was released that Booker and many of the Democrats involved in the vote had taken donations that were misrepresented as ‘pharmaceutical only’?—?but instead related to the entire medical industry. This was proven in a Politifact article, where they verified the dollar amounts but attempted to clarify that they didn’t represent the pharmaceutical industry alone. However, at this point, the damage was done and the BernieCrats devoted days ripping Cory Booker apart as part of the ‘establishment’. The people in New Jersey know and love Booker. They have watched him as a rising star, placing himself in the center of those that need to be heard the most in the lower as well as middle income realms, and are horrified at what they are seeing and hearing from the Sander’s supporters.
A side note should be included that those that had experience in the pharmacy-world made attempts to clarify the difference between U.S. and Canadian drugs versus those manufactured in other countries that couldn’t guarantee either the main ingredients or even clean production environments. It didn’t seem to matter to the BernieCrats that there could be rat feces in the medication, they were all-about destroying Booker.
Sanders Hit By FEC for Mystery $10 million donation
Credit needs to be given to Bernie Sanders for conducting a campaign that rallied individual donors to contribute small dollar amounts that added up to a lot of money. However, what BernieCrats refuse to see is that there are quite a few questions that are hidden, and the big one is the mystery of the $10 million donation that the FEC has questioned.
Another key item that has raised eyebrows is that Sanders has become a millionaire during his campaign. In a DailyMail article, they detail:
· Sen. Bernie Sanders, once in the bottom 20 percent of earners in the U.S. Senate, made more than $1 million in 2016
· The heftiest sum came to Sanders in the form of a book advance for $795,000 for his latest tome ‘Our Revolution: A Future to Believe In’
· In 2016, Sanders also bought a third, lake front vacation home, but put the asset in a family trust, according to his newest Senate disclosure form
The reason that this little detail is brought up is that Sanders has devoted a lifetime railing against the ‘one percent’ and due to the fact that he hasn’t released but one tax return, he has conveniently hidden the idea that he is indeed now a member of that group. Much of his money is either listed in his wife’s name (Jane) or in a trust.

Kiss of Death Sanders
So now we continue with the ‘purity test’ that Sanders and the BernieCrats have set up and exactly how that is working out for them.
In a Wall Street article, reprinted by cc-ds.org they state:
“For now, the strategy of Mr. Sanders’s followers is to infiltrate and transform the Democratic Party’s power structure, starting with the lowest-level state and county committee posts that typically draw scant attention.”
The first sign of the attempt at creating their own purity standards and support began in one of the most liberal areas of the country: Los Angeles, California. The attempt at a takeover of the Democratic Party failed miserably, as long-standing Democrats refused to be hijacked and the BernieCrats lost.
While Sanders has long proclaimed that he is an advocate for women’s rights, he bungled this in the worst way in his support for Heath Mello, the Omaha, Nebraska anti-choice candidate for Mayor. Additionally, throughout his campaign, Sanders repetitively indicated that women’s rights as less than a priority and this outraged a majority of the Democrats to the point where the new DNC Chair, Tom Perez, had to come out with the statement:
“If you demand fealty on every single issue,” Perez said, “then it’s a challenge. The Democratic Party platform acknowledges that we’re pro-choice, but there are communities, like some in Kansas, where people have a different position.”
Needless to say, Mello lost to the Republican, which is standard in the Bernie Sanders world, because they simply don’t care.
Apparently, Ossoff isn’t ‘pure enough’ either
Georgia has historically been an extremely conservative and ‘red’ state. However, we are not living in normal times and many are seeing the demise of everything that we hold dear as ‘American’ under the Trump regime. When Jon Ossoff of Georgia’s Sixth District began to make a showing of popularity, his attitudes and rhetoric demonstrated a new and refreshing sound for the Democratic Party.
This is when ‘Independent’ Bernie Sanders stepped up and, without researching Ossoff’s background or political stands, stated that he didn’t think Ossoff was ‘progressive enough’.
This is all that it took for the BernieCrats, as their messiah had made a prediction and given them a call to arms and they began their attack on Ossoff. Using social media as their tool, they exchange pitiful comments, extreme left wing written articles and full-on condemnation for the one Democrat that may have catapulted a state of change in Georgia for the first time in nearing forty years.
Is this the first time that Sanders and his supporters align with Republicans and Trump? No, there seems to be quite a common pattern here as they plow through with a ‘hell be damned’ attitude. Long standing Democrats of all progressive persuasions have rallied behind Ossoff as he runs against the Republican candidate, Karen Handel, who recently made the blatant statement that she ‘doesn’t support a livable wage’.
Even though Sanders later kind of, sort of, corrected his statement about Ossoff, the BernieCrats didn’t seem to notice. They have continued to badger and condemn Ossoff in every way possible…why? Because Bernie originally said so.
At this writing, Ossoff retains a 7 point lead over his opponent, Handel, and the results of whether enough strong Democrats come out in support will be seen in the final vote on June 20th, 2017.
Trying to Get Your Way Only?—?Hands the Election to the Opposition
What the BernieCrats and bots haven’t learned is that nothing in life offers exactly what you want, one hundred percent. While change is needed, you get nothing through demands and stomping your feet. Trying to push out everyone else that shares many of their opinions, simply because they don’t share all, not only creates an environment to lose, but hands the success to the opposition.
If you sit down and try to reason with the BernieCrats, make an attempt to talk about what you all have in common versus their own personal observations, they typically start out in denial, then name calling and finally invoking the name of Hillary Clinton as a last resort. The odd part about this is, it’s the same exact behavior as the Trumptrolls. The only difference is the ‘trending terms’ that they use in name calling.
Sanders recently held his own rally in Chicago, IL for a ‘political revolution’ that he called ‘The People’s Summit’. If you had been following Sanders post-presidential election behavior, you would have seen that he began this trek almost immediately after his loss. His intention is to start a new and more powerful third party in the political system that some are calling ‘the people’s party’ and the 4,000 BernieCrats in attendance seemed to be in agreement with him.
As per the CNN article headline for this event: “Sanders to faithful: Take down Trump, take over Democratic Party”. Those that attended were indeed, ‘the faithful’, and they do represent a small and some may say ‘growing’ percentage of the population that want change. But what they are missing is that the members of the Democratic Party far outnumber them and if they are going to ‘attack’ instead of try to work together, it will be a foregone conclusion that they will lose. There are many long-standing Democrats that want change and would be more than happy to march side-by-side with Sanders supporters, but their spoiled brat attitude, constant state of anger and relentless purity tests on every candidate turns them off.
Until they learn this lesson, they will simply be a nanosecond in history, expressing a newly found interest in politics and then heading off to the next ‘trending thing’ that catches their eyes.
