I sold DSC yesterday but could not resist price today. Though I am still worried about this Q, DSC is cheap based on 1998 expectations so I bought again at 24 1/4. Yeadon

There will be much spending/investment to implement local number portability (LNP). It has lots of mentions in the Lucent annual report which just came in the mail.

Simply stated, LNP allows an incoming call to find the target number when the service provider is one of several.

Mr. Donald mentioned it in the Q3 conference call as an "in-testing" product, if I recall correctly.

I can't quantify the market for this. Can anyone?
