Chellam, Atml's cfo, said that they are being very cautious with their customer's ability to pay for their material. This favors large multinational companies who can further squeeze suppliers (ATML). 45% of atml's revenues come from Asia! Situation is a two sword. Asian companies need to export to get themselves out of their mess, but will need to import Atml's chips to make their products. In the short term, situation is uncertain, but longer term it could be a plus, as Asian companies produce more of the things Atml's chips go into.

Talked about telephone market. Unit sales to this segment is up 60% year over year, but prices have been slashed in half. No mention of corresponding cost measures.

Chellam said nothing stupid. Acquitted himself very well. Came off straight forward and believable.
