Joe, I agree.. Worrying about that short position is like worrying if this stock will ever trade in 1/64's.. In reality a small short position is healthy for a stock.. Helps in the upward momentum.. Dave

I believe the monthly short interest is thru the 15th of each month. Therefore, most of the shorts were probably iniated after the last price run-up on Nov 19 (ABC news spot)and were probably covered on the tax loss selling we experienced in late Dec. I doubt any shorters are shorting OZON to zero (but I might be wrong).

Sorry, in my last post I forgot it is a problem when a table is posted (fixed font)along with commentary (normal font). I agree with you on your short interest analysis. I believe the monthly short interest is thru the 15th of each month. Therefore, most of the shorts were probably iniated after the last price run-up on Nov 19 (ABC news spot)and were probably covered on the tax loss selling we experienced in late Dec (short interest will show up in Jan 98). I doubt any shorters are shorting OZON to zero (but I might be wrong).
