It's just like the problematic Aceh Province in Indonesia populated by separatist Muslims guerilla fighters.

After the terrible tsunami hit Aceh the United States and Parsons Engineering has been helping Indonesia restore and expand the highways through Aceh - so military and supply vehicles can quickly move from one part of Aceh to another.

I mentioned this to a old high school friend who is a manager on the project. As a Christian he was quite upset being convinced he is building the highway network to bring the Lord's blessings to the fishermen and farmers of Aceh.

Hmmm. Perhaps in part.

That's why Eisenhower funded the US Interstate highway system. After seeing how effectively Hitler's autonbahns could be used he was insistent upon bringing US infrastructure up to the same standard.
