Ocote,

I too would welcome a return, or more of the old talk about short term being 3 months. However, I do recognize the difficulty in the current very volatile market for a longer term perspective.

That said, I think we should start talking more about some MIMs & MIMBOs since they provide a very good starting point for for a longer term perspective in terms of growth & return.

I have been compiling a list of MIM/MIMBO candidates and will post them when I can.

One interesting one I found last night: OPTI.

Ocote,

The best looking long-term chart I have seen for a while is AMZN followed by ASHW and AQUX. DIGL is getting there and CSRE is getting interesting. TRKN's double bottom after drastic pre-signal PGDCEB activity is a low-risk intermediate play.

The market is in that shakey price range again and for long-term plays, the patience to wait for 7200 to 7400 on the Dow is probably just as important as the patience to wait for longer term positions to make progress.
