Here are a couple good pictures. The first is all the hurricanes models have developed this year in a 7-day forecast, and the bottom is the observed hurricane.

This shows a couple things: 1) there is a lot we don't understand about hurricane development, and 2) when a model is programmed to develop hurricanes, it over responds. This trend applies to CO2 warming, since it's programmed as adding energy to the system.

Now take a young scientists brainwashed to believe global warming, he/she looks at a model and says, "Hurricanes increase with CO2!". Since he/she is on a grant to prove hurricanes will increase with CO2, he/she will just cherry pick a region or a time-periods, find a trend, get a degree, and get another grant to 'discover' more crap that isn't so.
