<<<<Texaco sees no slow-down in exploration .........we need to assume that there will be at least 6 more months of bad news from asia as some countries are stabilizing (korea, japan, maylasia, etc) and others are destabilizing (indonesia, etc.) .....your post accurately notes that the drillers already have a year's work ahead of them........by the time these countries are at bottom and beginning to grow again we will see increased demand, increased driller sentiment and price of oil rising. .....i think the best investment idea is to dollar cost average into the highest quality companies over the next 6 months--bailing now would be a bad idea imho.
