Rob, Just quoting from the paper. This area, bounded by Duke, Univ of NC at Chapel Hill and Duke, contains the Research Triangle Park, home of many high tech companies. A lot of work available locally for skilled IT folks. Many teachers, for one group, are fed up with relatively low wages here in NC. I suspect a lot of them would love to get 32 grand after an 8-week course. It would take most of them at least 15 years to get to 40 grand, and I'm not even sure their pay scale goes that high.
