Richard: Well said. Too many traders seem to be looking for a proven trading system to emulate. What they should be doing is concentrating on formulating their own view based on their own experience in the market. It is fine to learn from others but I always put the emphasis on my own trading first.

Richard, Well said. Always question what you read or are told. There are aspects of his teachings I disagree with (such as telling yourself "I am a loser" at the start of every trading session). Other principles he teaches are actually common to other authors. I don't mean to fixate on Elder. My point was every investor (those that are not perfect) has a level he or she aspires to. Part of what keeps us from that is breaking known rules. Rashid
