Do think BMI is a flawed system of classification vs the computations previously in use. Two examples: BMI doesn't account for either big boned individuals or those with the stocky/muscular body type.
Loss of muscle mass, due to the natural decline of hormone levels, beginning in middle age, is another issue.


Height is anther factor and another issue - most people get a little shorter as they age.

I lost more than a few inches - and gained most back via exercise but I'm still an inch shorter than my teen years.
