jack,
My scanner came with a split cable so that I could connect my printer and scanner up to the same port.
Now if I could learn to use the d*mn thing, Wes
BTW, I am one that looks for your logs, thanks.

Jack, Is that a newer scanner? Usually there is a port for the printer. If not , you could buy a pass-thru...where both could attach
to the same port on the computer. Or you could pick up an ISA parallel port card.Only about $15. Another way to go would be to use the new USB ports on the back.I am in the market for a scanner right now.I think I will go with USB.
