Cruz is HATED by every other Senator. no he is not.....he is hated by the most establishment RINO senators including the entire Senate leadership.........legislatively, he would accomplish about the same..............but as to draining the swamp, he would have been infinitely better........he knows exactly how things operate and who needs to go.....wouldn't take 8 months to size up McConnell. And Cruz would NOT have won the GE. ...he would have won because he would have to had beaten Trump in the primary.......unless of course never Cruz supporters like you would stay home.....LOL! ...........Cruz would have handled the media.....the man can think on his feet..........sometimes I wonder if Trump can think ...at all.
