Appears that the problem is bigger than we think. I have to go now, but will post a list of Y2K myths that I received in my work mail a couple of days back which supports the apparent fact that some operations are not assigning enough resources to this problem.

Yesterday in the G&M there was a great article that stated the Bank of Montreal assigned 22 persons for 4 years to solving their Y2K problems.
