They own alot of stock at this level , look at the trade reports and see what has been going on when the buying comes in.

Plus when people BID for the stock in Between the spread it hurts the price on a BB stock . let say the ask is .40 and no one is buying but they have a pile of orders at .38 . they move down and pick those up,

Now the bid was .38 but now its the ask , people see that and they think it is falling so out they go . which counters the buys that just came through . Its much better to set limit orders at the ASK and support the company and the price. IMVLO

Im just rambling , not saying this is happening today , but i know it has happened in the past.
