Sonki,

Please don't stop posting because you think someone may have a profit/loss from something you write. Come on now, were all adults here. (may not act like it some days) I don't think anyone would make a trade based on what 1 person said, no matter how much we DO value your opinion. No one knows whats going on these days. Everything seems to have gone out the window as far as how the market is suppose to react to things. Sorry to quote Dodge, but the rules have changed!! I like it that we don't always talk about intel but discuss other stocks. It's up to the individual to do they're own homework before acting upon an idea (be it good or bad).

Have a great day, take care and good luck with the market today.

Ann

P.S. I am moving my IRA to a Roth. Not because of your discussion, but because the timing is right for me personally. I also have been talking to my tax advisor, broker and mentor. My IRA account is in the crapper, better to pay taxes on it now before it goes up again.

Sonki, all we can do is give our opinion. As far as being right is another story alltogether. Who do you know has been 100% right? This market is driven by emotions and all we can do is give our best without hype. I think we all have talked to each other long enough to know that we are trying to do the right thing. But like always, in the end we have to decide ourselves with what to go. I think we have still done better than some of those analysts.

I still think the market will be going up this year and I still think it will be going down at times. The trick is to find the right stocks and the right times. I still believe the drillers will do good but they are hurting at this time.

When we put stocks on we generally discuss them and everyones opinion, I think, is valued, if it turns out to be right or wrong. Hopefully we are right most of the times but things happen even the companies themselves can't foresee. So cutting down on posts because of it is not beneficial to the thread. All our opinions are. For or against.

Anyhow, the market is doing alright today despite all the talk about doomsday. I would not put all my IRA into Roth IRA at one time. You have all year to do it. There are still a lot of pro and cons about it. So take it slowly. Only my opinion.

Msft, I heard that it could be slowing down and if that happens it could go to the low 100s. Not my opinion, only what I heard. I am waiting to go into Msft.

I also listened to Mr. Awad today. He was on Stock Talk. He thinks LU is the best Tel.Com. to own.

Intel is doing great today. Hope earnings will come out alright and the conf.call will be optimistic. I still think Intel is one of the best tech. companies to hold.

Europe is coming back. Spanish and Italien markets may do the best there this year.

Mexico and Brazil are supposed to be doing better in S.America. TBR is still touted by some. The privatization is coming up. Depending where you bought it at, may still be worth holding. It is getting low again.

Asnd says it will come in as expected. Mr. Awad said AMD will not be able to outdo Intel. What else is new? He said Intel will outdo everybody. Is best positioned as far as money and research is concerned.

I heard concerns about Sunw because of DEC but have not looked into it. Also heard that it should be able to get back to the mid 50s.

I guess you notice that there was a lot of thinking done. gg.

Sonny

Sonki'
I hope you are right about sunw and msft. They are my only two tech stocks that are up significantly from where I bought.
