Why should they? No reason at all, as far as I can see. They have no choice but to sell new shares at a fixed price, so they might as well get it over with. Perhaps they can then use the proceeds to buy back some of the stock and reduce the dilution.

(PS. I have not researched the fine print underlying the warrants, so my quick opinion assumes there is nothing unusual in the terms.)

I don't know - they keep extending the Chips & Technology offer!
