Outside of the Vietnam war, the Left has never taken an active interest in US foreign policy. The Vietnam war was an exception because they didn't want to serve and drop dead. The Left is only primarily interested in progressive policies at home; but they fail to realize that domestic and foreign policy are often intertwined.
