16 pints is 4 gallons... I didn't think it was humanly possible... after not even 2 pints, I want to puke it all back up... Same with Joey Chesnut eating 72 hot dogs in 10 minutes. There may be a little magic involved.

You are correct - the LD50 for water is 6 liters (assuming my source is correct). The toxin is in the dose. She had 16 pints which is 7.57 liters. If you weight around 220 lbs, it's around 8-9 liters of water. Then there is the question of amount of sugar, which is in a form that is readily available to the body... medicaldaily.com 16 pints is 4 gallons... I didn't think it was humanly possible... after not even 2 pints, I want to puke it all back up... Only two pints??? You've never sat down with a tub of icecream that was calling your name and finishing it off? :-) (I think it's three pints/tub)
