Just popped over here from your post on the UMSI thread. In my opinion any young company that posts monthly revenue and profit figures on a monthly basis has an enormous plus going for them. Of course any legitimate company should do that.

Gross Profit (GP) is the profit before expenses. Generally included is the cost of any discounts, charges for defective product, etc. It is the profit before payroll, administrative expense, cost of holding inventory, etc. has been subtracted.
