NO IT CAN NOT

The reason is that the company needs to pay interest charges to the creditors. Also the government will not let the company abandon the mines. The care and maintenance of these mines is very costly.

Also it cost a fortune to shut a mine down

Mt Todd. 7+ million shut down cost
Mt Todd. 5+ million care and maintanence.

The mines of Florda cannions and Montana Tunnels represent an enormous burden to the company.

Look I know this is not good news but I chalange anyone to dispute these claims. I would enjoy the dailog. (P.S I know that I can not spell and I need not be reminded of it.)
