Chuck - What that most likely means is that someone has placed a limit order to sell 3,200 shares at 1 5/8. The MM will NOT fill that order UNLESS someone wants to buy those shares. If the sell order were cancelled, you would immediately see the ask size drop back down to 10 (meaning that 1,000 shares were available).

btw - When I say "sleazy" MM, no disrespect is intended. ;-)
