Watch out for these acquisitive pharmas after they do a big acquisition. There have been a lot of blowups over the past few years that fit this description (although one could argue that was always what they were doing): VRX, ENDP, TEVA, and a smaller Canadian company I can't remember the name of off hand. I wonder if SHPG is now doing the same. To some extent I think a lot of this ties into the CLO market. That's where a lot of the CDO/ MBS money went after TARP monetized the market. I guess the ECB is still buying this crap but I don't see it ending well.
