There is nothing new under the sun...

This was attempted many many years ago in Harlem where certain activists (communist) tried to get store owners to transfer ownership of their stores on 125th St in NYC to black people...

I believe this was sometime around the period of the Rodney King riots.

Oh and yes, there is still nothing new under the sun -

There were protests to get the stores to hire more local people, which is understandable not taken to an extreme.

However, a good number of those protesters were paid to do so for more than the purpose of hiring local - it was to disrupt business to economically "convince" the store owners to comply with the first point (paid for by guess who)

I just realized - BLM is not PC, otherwise they would call themselves AALM. :-)
