I have Norton 3.0 which includes Crash Guard and have had similar and many more problems. There have been three upgrades (download support updates) since I installed it just about 2 weeks ago. (The original at installation and two more). Since I put the last one on yesterday and found a conflict with my Diamond 3D video card, it seems to have stabilized, if you can call one day without a problem "stable." Net, net: I would suggest that you check their updates on a regular basis.

Also, regarding Netscape crashes: Someone told me they reduced the number of crashes dramatically by disabling the SSL v3 option in the security settings. Don't know what your giving up by doing this.

Good luck, Vaughn

Please note that I am a big fan of Symantec products and think the new NU will be terriffic when they get the bugs out...
