I belong.....

I think many people fit into that category of trading that you discussed which is why it is important to discuss it.
and the psychological aspect can be a killer.

and if you are having other personal things going on in your life then you have a mix for a personal disaster.

I think you need a good suppport system. It makes a HUGE difference when you dont have one versus when you do. People dont really understand the difference a support system can make....

Jim,

You said it so perfectly. In fact I was going thru that same stage of not being cautious enough, after getting my huge gains in the summer.

Thanks for your comments, especially being new to trading options on indexes (started in MAY).

I seriously believe that this can help all to become better traders. It is easy to say to be nimble, but to execute it is definitely something else, and not a good feeling.

As of right now the OSX option price has dropped another 1/8, and the verdict is still out. Looking at the market now, I feel that I should have held, but at the time I made the decision the situation was different.

Jim; RE:" I was SCARED when I was trading... "

Your candor struck a deep chord in my psyche that I was unprepared for and am still reacting to. salut, fellow cybertrader.
