Hi Sonny and All: Sorry to have been out of touch for a while, but had computer problems and decided to focus all my efforts on the markets. I found it difficult to log on and off and trade at the same time so decided to trade!

Had some good entries: Got long INTC at 68 and then 70.5. Did better with MSFT at 118 but got out too early - still got over half the move.
My best trade this year was buying AAPL at 13. Even though it has pulled back a bit I think it should at least retest the 20 level. Also got long SGI under 12 but bailed out at thirteen waiting for retest of the recent lows and took a few points out of MICA.

Here's my overall read of the market: It seems to me that the Market has been having a tendency to react to Asian developments early in the day and then seems to recover later in the day, a la yesterday.

This could be construed as Bullish Activity - ie an early test of the lows.

I am impressed so far with Naz behavior today but I am less happy about the way the S&P is behaving. However, we are once again tryin to hold the lows and if we recover more than half the losses, there is a very good chance we could end up going positive on the day. If so that would be an enormous boost for the market overall.

I've gotta run just now

I'll be back later

Have a great day and a happy, healthy and highly prosperous 1998 to all.

Hi Sonny,

I am glad to hear that your back is doing better and I do remember you saying you had a disk problem. I can't remember if you said that it was herniated or slipped. Have you ever tried doing exercises for back problems? For some people they help out. I probably told you that I went to backache class at my doctor's office. Do those pain killers raise your blood pressure as that sometimes is the case. Also some times you are not suppose to drink any alcohol with some of the pain killers. Do you drink Aloe Vera juice? It might help your back pain out and if it does not, it is very healing for the stomach. Also it should help out with any other joint problems that you have as I thought that you mentioned that you did have some of those if I am not mistaken.

I am very happy to see Intel doing well so far today. Have a good one.
