Brian,

I'm doing this without digging into my notebooks.

MSFT's holdback on rev's has been 2 billion in the past 18 months. This is all profit. E they show are about 2.80. MSFT has about 1.2 billion shares. Holdback = 1.66 per share. 2.80 + 1.66 = 4.46. But some of the 1.66 is from 5 and 6 quarters back. MSFt has said holdback will INCREASE into July. Plus further growth.

I agree with your points. I would sell at a 50 pe, too.(And I did, but only some.) Growth will slow and the pe will drop dramatically. But keep an eye on earnings.
