A Tale of Two Presidents:

Trump:

The White House does not plan to release its own version of a tax reform plan and will instead leave that to the congressional leadership and the major tax-writing committees, a senior administration official said Thursday.

The decision to hand off the specifics of tax reform comes after the administration promised earlier this summer to release a full tax plan when Congress returned from its August recess.

Reagan:

February 1981: The Reagan Administration delivered a detailed 296-page Economic Recovery program to Congress that included a substantial tax cut plan.

Reagan provided an example of leadership. Trump provided an example of an abdication of leadership.
Don't expect "Trump Radio" to mention Trump's outsourcing of the tax reform issue to Congress. Also, don't expect it to explain that should tax reform be adopted this year or next year, all the credit would belong to the Congress, while none would belong to Trump.

Trump can't sell tax reform or anything because he doesn't know what he wants. He doesn't understand complicated issues and is too lazy and inattentive to learn.

His only real agenda is his ego. He wants adulation and is enraged by criticism. And most Trump supporters have no other agenda either anymore ... they don't really care about anything other than Trump. They want nothing else than what their leader wants ... adulation of Trump and no criticism of him.
