James, We have a few different views to investing, but they are basically the same. I only buy in 1000 share lots. Awhile back I wrote put Jan 70's on CPQ. Well, 12/31/97 they were put to me. Jim if I may call you that. That caused my holdings in CPQ to rise to 4500 pre split shares! It would be ok if I thought it was gonna move up fast, but I doubt it? After the split I will sell some on the run up, I hope? What I have learned best about wall street is they lie as much as they tell the truth IMO. I've ceased believing you buy it forever. The only thing I see is symbols cross the screen and trade those period. I donot believe in life insurance and if something happened to me, my family is well taken care of without tax obligations. I also don't believe in bank rolling large sums into retirement plans (may have been a mistake)? I won't know because I cannot predict future? I'm 49 and can say I've done well enough. CYTC is a small stock. Small stocks go up and down. I owned 1500 shares of AGPH and got out @ 51. My cost was 43, where is it today, 33? I made 17 K on it in 97. If I had hung in, I would have lost 30 K. I'll take the money and run. Pay taxes and love every one of those dollars I pay uncle sam, because it keeps the game alive! Funny thing is-stocks trade up and down daily, don't they? Are you trying to tell when you hear the MONEY MANAGERS are taking profits, they are always LONG-TERM ones? :) RIGHT! Do you have real time quotes? If not goto-RTQUOTES.com, they give you a 100 a day for free. Or goto the CBOE.com for the real closing prices, and see some of the swings and short selling going on. Yes, I have had only one job in my entire life. So its hard for me totally understand what goes on in the real world. Either way I'm betting this stock is gonna go up because of what I do for a living and what I hear and see. Lastly, either the market will swing way up tomorrow afternoon and continue into Monday or it's gonna be a blood bath. The full-moon effect plays havic with markets and Monday its here. :> Good Night! Ken
