Just bought a new P II 266 at $1700 last week. Compaq 233 K6 is a good value around $1100 too. But the P II comes with the 440LX chipset and AGP support. I was betting on the new features once Windows 98 is out.

Also heard IBM is going to sell 266 K6 around $1600-$1700. While HP is going to sell 266 PII at the same range. At the same price range, would buyers rather go old motherboard ?
