Utter nonsense. No one has to destroy their economy with corruption like Greece, Nigeria, Mexico and Italy do.

During the Great Depression, US income declined about 16% which was horrific. Compare that catastrophe to your naive "Greece is doing better" having lost only 45% of their income so far.

If China enters into a horrific economic depression due to corruption and mismanagement, you can say in your best Paris Hilton voice, "It just wasn't sustainable" and do an air kiss for the reporters.

But that's not the way it has to be. No one requires you to squander your inheritance like a wastrel it's voluntary.
