CJ, you've been fundamentally confused about this for as long as I remember. I don't think you are going to suddenly get it now. If you produce a million widgets and put them in inventory, you have created jobs. You have created production. You have created economic growth. If no one buys even one widget, there was no demand. Demand is not even part of the equation. It was the production that mattered. And that has to create demand. When you create a product you hope to create demand. Sometimes you do, other times you don't. But you create jobs to produce our product.
