I think you're confused. If you invent something, have a great idea, but someone else turns it into a lot of jobs, that isn't you doing it. You could credit Time Berners-Lee with Amazon's jobs by your theory, but the jobs could not have been created without the wealth underlying them.

Today, it is very difficult to raise debt without making money first, although it might be done. A solid restaurant operation will put the owner in the 1% by the time he has created 50 jobs. Let alone 50,000.
